Dark Skies Festival
One major festival happening within the North York Moors, from 10th to 26th February 2023, is the Dark Skies Festival.
This festival is filled with spectacular activities to appreciate and marvel at the night sky. Stargazing sessions, night walks, mindful experiences, art exhibitions and more, right across the National Park. Being an International Dark Sky Reserve, the North York Moors has some of the best dark skies in the country with as many as 2,000 stars visible on a clear night.
